What do candidates need to submit for References and how will that information be used?
Only contact details of the references are needed while applying, not recommendation letters. The recruiting team will reach out to the references if the candidate makes it to the final round of recruitment.
What is the compensation?
DIL-India’s compensation is competitive with peer organizations in the development research and innovation sector. Candidates will be paid competitive industry rates for each position.
Policy Manager
Where will the position be based out of? Is it possible to have it remote with travel whenever required?
The Policy Manager will be based in Delhi. Working remotely is not possible due to the nature of this role.
What is the nature and scope of the interaction with the PIs?
The Policy Manager will work closely with the Innovation Commission, chaired by Michael Kremer. She or he will frequently interact with the leadership team and spearhead the work of the Commission in India.
What is the split between field research, data analysis, and admin tasks?
This role is primarily based in Delhi and involves a combination of evidence translation, data analysis, and administrative tasks.
Research Manager
Where will the position be based out of? Is it possible to have it remote with travel whenever required?
The Research Manager will be based in or near project location with frequent travel to Delhi.
What is the nature and scope of the interaction with the PIs?
Research Managers will interact frequently and work closely with DIL’s Lead Researchers on the projects that they lead. Research managers can expect frequent contact with They may also collaborate with Faculty Director Michael Kremer on projects he directs.
Senior Policy Manager
Where will the position be based out of? Is it possible to have it remote with travel whenever required?
The Senior Policy Manager will primarily be based in Delhi, with frequent travel to states where DIL has engagements. Working remotely is not possible due to the nature of this role.
